1. Well they are doing what companies do
playing to the jury... the ones to come.

3. Never expected anything less
now I wish my lovely guv'ment though decided (and I get why legally why they have not) to just go full speed ahead with what needs doing. And again legally I get it why some things are not being done, or rather, why they suck at PR.

4. I'm trying to understand that unnamed WH comment
attacking the labor movement. Ezra Klein is right.

5. Nothing will change until people take to the streets
that will not happen until things get really bad and the propaganda of the last two generations slowly lifts from them eyes.

6. I know you're talking protest here...
...but someone else might mistake your meaning?

7. Well uncle sam might
but I mean a well organized protest, labor organizing... which I will remind you, at one time was illegal in the US, and some forces would love to make it illegal again.

10. Well, that's another "good" night we won't go easily into
Actually, I was thinking of the "visitors" who come here trolling for nuggets to serve as their springboard for real or feigned outrage. THEY would be happy to misinterpret "taking it to the streets" as another thing entirely--and they wouldn't even appreciate the irony...

13. Pepperoni or cheese?
Actually in over eight years I don't think I have ordered pizza. Just used the ignore feature. I have to go do cleanup every so often though. Many in that list have gotten pizzas.

Some other DU'er called Dominos I guess.

8. Yes indeed
of course more real life examples of deregulation and small government will hasten the struggle.
