Well we went to vote this morning
and I must say... if this county has 10% of voters show up it will be good.

Ok we went at 11:00 but still the place had two poll workers, one more voter and myself and my hubby. And this is what is a problem. People scream and complaint, but the actual REAL thing they could do, VOTE... they don't.

Yes, I have a problem with this. And my hopes that things will ever change are mostly gone. IF people don't show up, why should things change? Yes I will continue to vote, but between a corrupt system and people not showing up...

7. My son and I voted absentee ballot
I heard that more than 50% of the votes were done through the mail because so many voters have asked for absentee ballots.

10. My Bay Area experience is heavier turn out at night.
I live around the corner from a polling place next to Berkeley, so I've been passing here and there between jobs throughout the day. A moderate amount of people this morning, dropped off around 9, kind of dead throughout the afternoon, picking up significantly now.

It was like this during the last election a few months ago when some school funding measures were on the ballot. I didn't even realize it was a polling place during the day, then suddenly there were lines of people at night.

Maybe the after work crowd will even things out.
