6. I went for Aceves for school supt., and Newsome for Lt. Gov, Harris for AG.

Not that I'd done tons of research, but liked that Aceves is a retired supt., and I've met Newsome and I like Harris.

13. I saw the Ed. Supt. debate and both Aceves and...

...Torlakson (sp?) were excellent. I know Romero is pushing the reform agenda, but I oppose the policy(teachers evaluated by student test scors) as well as her militaristic stance on parents' rights.And I DO support parents' rights. Both Aceves and Torlakson have experience, know education, and respect teachers. I think the CTA supports Torlakson...but I could be wrong.
