I also don't think Helen Thomas was treated fairly.

I don't really know who Helen Thomas is, except she's really old and I have a visual image of her looking like that little old lady who was in NCIS LA and The Incredibles. I just can't summon up shittiness at little old ladies I'm not familiar with.

Now, Elton John, he's a whole different story. Bear with me while I get the rage and anger fired up here. How would you feel if someone close to you was fixated on the bland and lifeless droll that Elton John flogs as music? Not only that, but they'd insist on you having to share the horror of listening to it constantly? And let's not forget the devoted discussions of how creative Elton was with all his costumes and crap, and how he was right up there creativity and theatrics-wise as David Bowie. Sorry, but Elton John is a fat slob who produced shallow and trilly bits of fluff which then turned up during major cultural events of our generation. Who can forget the cringing of everyone with decent taste in music when he appeared at Princess Di's funeral? Mind you, I didn't have the tacky taste to watch Di's funeral - I'm only going on what someone else told me. Elton John really sucks and he's never had any talent. I'm not sure how anyone could stumble upon him and his 'music' and not be as horrified and appalled as I am right now!

If there was an international criminal court for crimes against the music-listening public, Elton John would be the Slobodan Milosovich of that new tribunal...

Just to reiterate. There is much more to be much crankier at Elton John about. At least until someone starts talking about Paul McCartney...
