Let's Play Space
A space odyssey of the mind
By Jon Kelly
BBC News Magazine

Six would-be astronauts will begin a 520-day mock space voyage this week to simulate a mission to Mars. How will they cope with the huge psychological pressures?

Deep in outer space, millions of miles from civilisation, they say no-one can hear you scream.

The same may not be true of a warehouse in Moscow's suburbs. But here an audacious experiment is about to try to replicate the cramped, claustrophobic conditions of a voyage across the Solar System.

From 3 June, the Mars 500 project will send a "crew" of six on a simulated 520-day round trip to the Red Planet and back.

1. You make an intesting comment.
"Deep in outer space, millions of miles from civilisation, they say no-one can hear you scream."

Reminds me of ending of a novel. and the many doctrines that try and get a person to think they are alone.

The problem with those doctrines is they miss a point. If a person was alone, why would simulated events have to try and convince them of that?

In other words it again shows the alone doctrine not true, because a person if alone would either be tried to be convinced he was not alone, or would be told he is alone. There would be no reason to convince a person he was alone if he was. So any concepts that try to get a person to think they are alone, can not be true, since they would not be needed to achieve that effect if true, hence people are not alone, and many people do exist.

So if any person thinks they are in some space alone, a common theme in many shows about issolation for long periods of time, the fact that something wants them to think it, means they are not alone.

There are many false doctrines to try to get a person to think they are alone, so that empathy can be broken down, if a person think other people are not real, then a person can treat them worse.

The secret doctrine has an offshoot of that also, if you think you can control other people, and think stealing free will is ok, then the people become an extention of the person stealing free will, and that person becomes alone, as other people stop existing in free will action.
