A Reminder: Photos of Dead/Dying Animals in the Gulf of Mexico

Please post a warning in the the thread title that there are dead creatures in your post. I forgot who it was that asked this favor before but I think it is a considerate thing to do.

Speaking for myself I think it's a good practice to show these photos but there are times when, for me at least, I can't handle it because it's just too painful and it breaks my heart. However there are times when I am in a stronger place and pictures of the animals suffering serve to keep me motivated to action and change and, not to mention, to hold BPs feet to the fire.

There are many highly sensitve people here at DU and all I would ask for is a 'Warning' in the subjet title so we know in advance and either prepare or avoid the thread all together.

I wasn't prepared for the thread with the dead dolphin in it and took my breath away and reduced me to sobs:cry:
