Meg whitman goes A bomb on "illegal immigrants" in California ads....
just heard her latest (well latest to me) ad bragging how NOBODY is gonna be more against illegal immigrants than her, NOBODY. Nice laundry list of things she is gonna do and things she is gonna see to it that "illegal immigrants" cannot receive in California so 'they" will go somewhere else. Plus a nice back up comment from the late Pete Wilson (I know he is not dead yet but he sounds like he is).

any merit she might have had in any of her logic on the issue has just been cast aside completely by the harshness of her rhetoric. She isn't gonna be governor with only votes of whites and blacks.

Way to go there, corporate CEO :-)

2. I heard this on the "liberal talk" station here in L.A.!
though hey, Meg, if you want to keep lefty talk radio alive, great!

I couldn't believe the scorched earth tone of the ad, either. Is she writing off all California Hispanic votes in November?

3. Read: No one dislikes brown people more than Meg Whitman. Nobody."
Keep talkin', Meggie. That'll get you elected in California, yup.

I'm amazed at how ignorant some politicos in CA and my own AZ are about the TREMENDOUS GOTV powers of the Latino community.

6. Is Pete Wilson in her ad? I hope so, because that will be the kiss of death for her.
She's tanking so fast that I'm dizzy already.

9. Wow! She's not just stupid, she's nuts. Prop 187 sent conservative Latinos to our side.
This is great news for Jerry Brown, who marched with Cesar Chavez.

The Latino base will be mobilized like crazy against her now.

Even the GOP knew to hide Pete Wilson after the blowback 187 caused.

She's desperate now just to win the Primary.

Thanks, villager.

10. I've got to see the ad. It shows complete desperation now.
Wow. Republicans have run away from Wilson for years because of 187.

Her internal polls must really be looking bad now in her Primary race. The LA Times article probably pushed her last button.

Thanks, msongs.

11. it's like Democrats all running as Marxists in the primary!
They're doing the rightwing analog to that, here in California...

I wonder if anyone on their political teams is reminding them there's another, general, election in November?

13. That's a loser in the general election in California.
Whitman cannot win in November. That's for sure.
