Cafferty asks...

4 p.m.: What does it mean if Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel is a tougher critic of the Bush administration than many Democrats?

5 p.m.: What does it mean that President Bush is using taxpayer money to fund a private army in Iraq without the knowledge of the American people?

7 p.m.: Is it possible to train politicians not to say stupid things ever?

1. Well, first of all, if he was interviewing those Democrats who talk tough,

he may not be able to make this statement. When was the last time Kucinich was on TV, or even Murtha, Feingold, Kerry, Boxer, Dodd.

Also, remember: there was ONE Republican on the SFRC that was even ready to vote for a NON-BIDING resolution. There was only one Democrat which opposed it.

What does this tell us?

2. Here's mine...
4 p.m.: What does it mean if Republican Sen. Chuck Hagel is a tougher critic of the Bush administration than many Democrats?
That just means many democrats do not get enough air time.

5 p.m.: What does it mean that President Bush is using taxpayer money to fund a private army in Iraq without the knowledge of the American people?
This one means that the Iran/Contra tree has borne fruit.

7 p.m.: Is it possible to train politicians not to say stupid things ever?
No. But it may be possible to train news anchors not to repeat and magnify inane subject matter.

3. It means that the Republicans will coopt the issues
when Democrats are timid.

5. DEM Senators will have an opportunity very soon...
To put their vote where their mouth is - by voting YES on the upcoming Feingold legislation!

No excuse for any DEM to vote NO on this. None!

I basically see a YES vote as proof of Democratic Party citizenship!
