Poll question: Who will the Right Wing/GOP/Tea Parties scapegoat next for the Gulf oil disaster?
Edited on Tue May-04-10 04:23 PM by PM Martin
So far, the right wing has named Obama and Environmentalists as scapegoats for the current crisis.
Who is next?

11. Thanks!
I think "Nancy Pelosi's oil spill" has a nice ring to it and it totally sounds like something Rush would say.

Got my vote!

7. I'll have to go with the French
Watch as "cheese-eating surrender monkeys" morphs into "oily, cheese-eating surrender monkeys."

They'll claim this all started when France refused to let Reagan use its airspace for his 1988 attack on Libya.

9. You forgot North Korea
Apparently Glen Beck has already proved the connection by writing "North Korea" and "Oil Rig Disaster" on a blackboard and drawing an arrow between them.

10. the people in the area
they should have moved out and let the oil companies alone be there. After all if they hadn't chosen to live there they wouldn't have to live with the problems. At least that is what they said about us after katrina.

17. they won't be scapegoating Halliburton the oil rig cementing company
A 2007 study by the U.S. Minerals Management Service found that cementing was the single most important factor in 18 of 39 well blowouts in the Gulf of Mexico over a 14-year period -- more than equipment malfunction
