RIP Gulf of Mexico - Tampa bay - The Keys.

I'll be taking my 30' sail boat out to the Gulf this week end for one last ride in the emerald gulf before it's ruined ...and all the dolphins I usually see I will say my respectful good byes to. They will all be in my prayers. It's been wonderful to live here since 1983 and now I might as well move out. I came here because of the Gulf and Tampa bay. RIP Gulf of Mexico and Tampa bay and the Keys. I will miss you and I thank you for all the good times and memories.

You don't have to live near to coast to be devastated by this. And also, how do you know this person didn't grow up there? You don't, and it doesn't matter if they did or didn't. Comments like that are just childish.

we are mighty worried...saw a sea turtle while out in my canoe the other day.

Now I wonder where she is...

15. Those dolphin pics and me are from Key Largo ...I am so worried about them and the whole area.

At least I got to swim with them and do some snorkeling on the reefs. I love it down there.

17. We went to the beach today at Galveston to say goodbye.

It won't look the same by the time I get back.

Hurricane Ike was hard to take, broke my heart.

This is way beyound that.

Nature can come back from a hurricane but not this, not for a very long time.

Tomorrow we are going to visit other places along the coast before it is to late.

My friends and I will leave Saturday to clean birds or whatever we can do to help.

I don't know when I will be back, I will go where needed.

I need to do this, staying home and crying isn't going to help.

Thank you Gulf of Mexico for all the good times you gave so many over time.

23. We had already planned to be at the Gulf in late June

to boat and swim with dolphins. It will be too late then.
I am so angry and sad. I'm filled with rage and I don't
know how to deal with it. The Gulf has been a part of my
life since I was a tiny kid. I'm mourning the loss not just
for myself, but for everyone.
