Wow. Allstate is cancelling ann coulter.
Edited on Fri May-04-07 12:34 PM by antifaschits
Dear Mr. Anti-,

We believe that everyone deserves an individual response, and we value
the feedback we receive from our customers. Therefore, we would like to
take this opportunity to respond to your letter.

Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We appreciate your
concern regarding our advertising appearing on the website
www.anncoulter.com. Unfortunately, the nature of internet media buys is
such that we are not always able to receive full disclosure with regards
to all of the websites on which our advertising may run. We do, however,
make every effort to ensure that our online media buys exclude sites
that contain offensive material or political content; regrettably, the
site www.anncoulter.com was not excluded from one of our network buys in
this instance. We have now asked that all banner advertisements for
Allstate be pulled from that site immediately.

Again, we truly value your feedback and appreciate the concerns you
raised with regards to our online advertising. We continually take our
consumers' thoughts into consideration as we evaluate our online media
plan, and we hope to avoid issues such as this one in the future. Thank
you again for bringing this matter to our attention.

Sincerely,

XXXXXXXXXXX

On edit, I wrote to complain that they were showing up on her site. They wrote back one time, re: an investigation.
This was their latest response. I now have edited and corrected their name in thanks.

4. and they are right
internet advertising is generally not well targeted, neither the advertiser not the host usually knows, without more effort, where the ads are posting. this is really one way in which consumer activism can be really effective, bravo!

6. You Da Man
On a related note, since Katrina ALLSTATE is about as popular in honest households in Mississippi and Louisiana as coulter is.

9. Wonder if this means that Dems buy car insurance, Freepers
run around uninsured and stupid. So they're going to go the way their customer base goes.

10. Nice job! Thanks for taking the time to contact them.
I contacted a few advertisers back a few months ago after Coulter made some awful remark (big surprise there!) and I got a lot of positive responses as well.

Most indicated they would be pulling their ads from her site.

The woman is like syphillis. No one wants her. HA HA!

..you know you're a pariah.
