Progressive groups and others need to act now and blast ads across the nation. They need to control the message on financial reform and hang the Republicans with it.

The images need to be short but pointed.

I would picture Rethugs as much shorter people in kid's clothes. The bankers and financiers pat them on the head and fill their baskets with money.

Then highlight the NO vote on financial reform. "Republicans - Wall Street's little helpers."

There are a million effective ways to do this by people who are experts at it. NOW is the time to strike, and it's not a minute too soon.

Drive home the fact that there is a big difference between the 2 groups. Separate them in the minds of people because everybody is lumped together in anti-incumbency sentiment.
