Hey Nevada, how is the "chickens for healthcare" story playing at home?
I know we are having a lot of fun with it, but are people/the local media talking about it there?

1. About like you'd expect . . .
Most of us think she's a couple of cans shy of a six-pack.

Of course I don't spend much time in conversation with people who would agree with her.

Comments on this editorial are about in line with what I've been hearing, overall:

If I couldn't pay my doctor, I'd give him something of REAL value, like jewelery!

I'm going to take a dozen eggs with me and see if he accepts that as payment.

10. They say most of the republicans are backing his nutso woman
well how about when they call for a donation, should people ask them if the want chicken, potatoes, carrots or flour. That they would be glad to accommodate the barter principal if the republicans would only tell them what they want. Hey maybe colored pencils so they can take that "blank page and start over".

11. Has the state medical association weighed in on this?
Or, for that matter, any doctors at all?
