Sex fuels earthquakes, says Iran cleric (Maybe he meant that sex feels like an earthquake)
A senior Iranian cleric has claimed that dolled-up women incite extramarital sex, causing more earthquakes in Iran, a country that straddles several fault lines, newspapers reported on Saturday.

"Many women who dress inappropriately ... cause youths to go astray, taint their chastity and incite extramarital sex in society, which increases earthquakes," Ayatollah Kazem Sedighi told worshippers at Friday prayers in Tehran.

Let's see what's in the news today.....pediphilic priests blaming homosexuals for their crimes, volcanoes erupting causing travel headaches, and now sex causing earthquakes! What's next?

18. The power of women is amazing, right?
The idea that the God Of All The Universes takes this much interest in women's clothing in downtown Tehran is even more amazing.

19. Yes, and gay people cause hurricanes
(as per Pat Robertson blaming Katrina on....tolerance of gays? Or maybe jazz or spicy seafood stew. I lost track.)

And the ACLU and feminists cause catastrophic terrorist attacks (Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell on 9/11. Oh wait, gays were in there too.)

Yes, but the latest natural disaster was the volcano in ICELAND, where women DON'T wear skimpy clothes BECAUSE IT'S TOO GODDAMN COLD.

(OK, I must admit, I liked Bjork's swan dress at the Oscars that one year. I thought it was cute and fun. It wasn't skimpy or risque either - it was just quirky and creative. Is that the problem? Probably so.)

27. Well, I personally liked a theory, albeit on volcanos,
I saw in another DU thread. Some brave soul had gone over to FR and lifted a posting about the Icelandic volcano being God's judgment on President Obama for, I believe, health care. See I think the reason there are so many earthquakes recently is that Poseidon Earthshaker is upset that more women aren't honoring him by horseback riding.
