Leahy likes to talk about his family and his state. Love the guy, but he can be a bit of a gas bag on those subjects. (so can I)

Seriously though, the story of Italian immigrants at the end of the 19th century, to central VT is an interesting one and one documented by their skill in buildings and monuments across the country and beyond. Thousands of skilled stoneworkers came to VT to work in the granite industry.

Was delightful to see him chat about this at hearing; haven't seen/heard such in the past, as I've lived down the road from him!
