Counterpoint, but with Respect: I Dream of NASA.

Maybe I am in the minority, but I love NASA and am hoping that we continue to finance and guide NASA in the direction of exploring the Final Frontier, which I think is Mars, but it could be an asteroid, comet or something else.

We have been to the moon, and there have thus far not been provided convincing reasons why we should go back.

NASA is one of the only bright spots in our history, and something to really be proud of; an agency that is about dreams and dreaming.

So, without being melodramatic, I hope NASA is funded and encouraged to move in new and bold directions.

NASA is his goal, his dream. Not to fly to Mars, but to help design the systems that get us there. I hope they get lots of funding and attract alot more kids to science. Nothing sparks the imagination like space....since the beginning of time.

and maybe a good place for a telescope.

I agree that as of right now, there isn't a good reason to send humans back.
