Tea Party philosophy in a nutshell:
Fuck y'all, I've got mine.

I've never seen a more ignorant, classless bunch of selfish assholes in my life.

These people get to vote AND, what may be worse, they get to serve on juries. I served with a bunch of them recently; they wouldn't know justice if it bit them on the ass.

One lawyer asked us (during voir dire) if we thought people could be dupes, if some adults really could be gullible. I almost raised my hand and said "Well, millions voted for Sarah Palin, didn't they?". I'm not sure those are dupes or just deluding themselves. Most people answered that question in the negative, though I disagreed.

1. NYT poll puts teabaggers at 18% of Americans. Kinda similar to % who approved of Bush at the end
At any rate, that gives you a sense of how marginal this group really is. Irritating that the media is hyping them so much.

2. The teabaggers are too stupid to have a philosophy.
They just think what the TV and radio tell them to think.

3. Teabaggers only want the government to protect them

against all perceived threats to their personal security and well-being, whether domestic or foreign.

If innocents must suffer or perish as a result, then that would be most regrettable but necessary.

I truly despise the lot of them.
