<snip>
Apparently a 33-year-old man in Philadelphia has been arrested after the FBI viewed YouTube videos of him threatening to kill Rep. Eric Cantor (R-Va.), the House Republican Whip. TalkingPointsMemo has the full text of the U.S. Attorney's press release and affidavit:

On March 26, 2010, the FBI, San Francisco Division, received a copy of a video that had been removed from the internet website YouTube. The video included images of a white male, later identified as NORMAN LEBOON, making threats against United States Congressman Eric Cantor, 7th Congressional District - Virginia. The video appeared to be homemade and was of good quality. The face of the white male can clearly be seen.

In the video, Leboon makes clear threats against Cantor and his wife, saying they will "receive my bullets," among other obviously angry, and at times incoherent, statements. Officials tracked Leboon using his IP address (via an Emergency Disclosure Request to Google and then Verizon). Once they found out the address, they compared an existing mugshot to the face in the video, determined it was Norman Leboon, and arrested him in Philadelphia.

3. He looks drugged
http://en.kendincos.net/video-pldlvr-the-nemesis-of-america-this-shia-muslim-norman-leboon-sr.html

Then there's this: "The initial portrait emerging of the man charged with threatening to kill Eric Cantor and his family suggests he's made similar, if not criminally actionable, threats on dozens of occasions against an ideologically diverse array of public figures." http://www.talkingpointsmemo.com/archives/2010/03/what_to_make_of_norman_leboon.php

He's so all over the place that he's likely a sick man who needs his meds upped, if he's taking any.

I don't think they're going to make anything stick and since he's threatened a lot of people on the left, there is no way Cantor can claim he's being particularly persecuted. They could offer him a choice between medication and jail, though.

I have a cousin who goes off his drugs once in a while and sounds remarkably like this guy. Eventually he does something really stupid and wise cops offer him the choice of going back on his drugs or going to jail.

I'm glad to say he's been on his drugs for a year and a half this time.
