Glenn Beck says he wore a bullet-proof vest when FBI warned him of a threat on his life...

This reportedly happened just last week in Times Square at his "Insiders Extreme" speech there. I'd actually heard rumors of this from insiders before I saw this publicly noted. Here's a youtube from Beck now claiming the "threatened violence" against him. Sounds like Rethug talking points now... Though if this is true, or if someone's engineering this to fuel more fire on the right, we're heading for some scary times soon as the effort to start a war by the right wingers continues!

... from someone that's an insider. I don't know when this was made public, but this "event" happened before the tea partiers "invaded" the congress over the weekend.

On the other hand, I don't necessarily disagree with you that this still could all be "engineered". Which if it is, then it is more sinister, if there was more advance planning of this sort of disinformation campaign.

Now, I'm certainly not trying to promote this story as "truth", but it is a story that's wandering through right wing fantasyland that's also being fed the other stories of Eric Cantor, etc. too. Now you might not like it, and I certainly don't, but we ignore stuff like this at our peril.

If we'd allowed the Cantor story to stay under the radar and not be questioned, just think of what the wingnuts would be doing now with stories of his, and stories from Beck, amongst others fueling their propagandized anger just that much more.

We need to talk about what's going on here, and find holes in what's going on, so that we can find ways of diffusing this story with anyone on the right that still has an ounce of brains left.
