3. Joey Must Be On The Good Meds Tonight
I give Joey credit for seeing this invasion for the clusterfuck it is and isn't drinking the kool-aid anymore...and he's seeing what I posted in other threads. With this veto, this war is now officially "booosh's war" and the Repugnicans are now forced to defend this veto. Now let's see who has a spine. Who, in a "purple" area, seeing a strong Democratic challenge next year is gonna want to vote to continue a war that gets more unpopular by the day?

5. Craig Crawford: the Democrats want to end the war but dont have the votes
The American people want to end the war and are on the Democrats side, the Democrats dont have the votes and the Republicans are getting in the way.

6. In Pat Buchanan's logic, the public will ultimately blame the Democrats for Iraq
Because Iraq will be more f-ed up in several years than it is now. It will have been our "precipitous withdrawl" that was the BIG mistake. How the Hell does Pat Buchanan get air time on every MSNBC show?
