The Conservative Entertainment Complex
David Frum was interviewed on Canadian TV (CBC) last night, and used the term "Conservative Entertainment Complex" to describe the Beck/Limbaugh types now calling the shots on the right. They're interest is in stoking hate and outrage, which keeps their viewers/listeners tuned in longer, and seeing/hearing more ads.

I thought that was a great label.

I like it. It is befitting term in contradistinction to "Liberal Media" which seems to be a catch phrase to denigrate certain issues and perspectives.
