1. Hey bobthedrummer, thanks for the info. Good to see you posting.
Ironically, I just posted on a related topic last night:

3. I'm posting from my local public library, as I no longer use a home pc either.
You always know where/what the "important stuff" is, my friend.

Peace out for now Emit.

2. Either "reading is fundamental", and an informed citizenry necessary for democracy-or not
I don't spend as much time and energy as I used to on the Internet because politics is LOCAL. But I utilize much of what originated on the Internet to support arguments, when arguments occur-yet one can't beat those old public access records stashed away in your own jurisdiction...

Then there are the whistle blowers, I've always paid attention to them.
Sometimes they get "gagged" by court orders and/or "national security" issues that are truly criminal conspiracies designed to protect networks full of terrible operatives and crimes committed in the name of the people of The United States of America.

4. Hi Bob, K&R!
I have something about the new Administrations poor record on "transparency" in Editorials. This is good to know more information from you here.

Glad to see you around. :hi:
