Many Socialists believe that “The Revolution” can triumph by more or less peaceful means - Hitler’s overthrow of the Weimar Republic is an example, as well as Chavez’s destruction of his republic.

In fact, I think a civil war is NOT in Obama’s plan. Where are his “Red Guards?” Where is his domination of the U.S. Army? National Guard? Navy? Air Force? Marine Corps? If the military thinks Obama has become a threat to the Republic, they will act alone, if necessary, to remove that threat. This is their duty, and Obama knows it.
