OK, Health Care is a done deal, now, what's next
If the Health Care Insurance reform passes, and it surely will, then its quite possible in all the whoop-la of self-congratulation will lead the White House to think that its strategy for this passage should be the model to follow into the future. That is to say let the Congress take the heat while the President sits back and passes the buck more or less non stop for as long as there is a Republican left to appease - and then not manage to get their votes. What do you want to see them spend a year on next?

I just pray for Primary Challengers for both Republicans and Democrats all over the nation. We have one hell of a lot of people left in Washington that have no business being there and that runs from Ideologues on the right of both Parties..

I know I've seen about all of the shitty end of politics I ever care to see, and still the Government spys on its own, still we are wire tapped, still we are in two illegal wars, still no one in in jail for the most savagely illegal Administration to ever hold office.

2. Actually, he might realize that resting on his laurels almost killed HCR...
And realize that as long as he sits behind the bullypulpit he needs to use it as he has done for the last couple of weeks.

4. Destroy the teachers
The past few months have been spent amply laying the groundwork. The President's support of firing all those teachers was the first burst of cannon fire.

5. My guess is a jobs bill
that secretly promotes even more outsourcing, followed by drastic cuts to Social Security.

They're on a roll, they wont be happy until the middle/lower classes have nothing left but a cardboard box to live in while eating rancid cat food.

7. Energy
Cap and Trade is going to be the next bone of contention. I don't think it is going to go anywhere but it will eat up the air waves. Elections are going to be the next thing Congress will concentrate on..

13. After the remark by Boener to the bakers...Regulate them now
"let those little punk staffers take advantage of you, and stand up for yourselves" when it comes to financial reform.
