1. Phelps, and his unholy clan, are among the few people I can truly say I hate

and yet I have to support their first amendment rights, no matter how heinous their speech, and yes, I'm gay.

When you start limiting speech based on how loathsome, and even evil, the content, everybody's rights are at risk.
