FYI - HBO's "The Pacific" starts tonight!

For those of you who haven't seen Band Of Brothers (arguably the best mini series produced in the last decade - if you haven't seen it, it's worth checking out), this is from the same producers and takes a look at the Pacific side of WWII.

And the Band Of Brothers DVD is worth every penny - amazing series.

That really impressed me, not just in the production but with the pretty firm impression they gave that they were being pretty respectful about the history and its participants. I hope they can do a repeat of that.
