3. I think Beck has gone over the edge lately.

I oppose boycotts to silence free speech, but if I were running a company i wouldn't want to be associatd with him.

BTW, I agree that a boycott whose sole aim to to silence a media personality is not something one should organize any time a right wing moron sneezes on the air, but when what is presented on a news outlet is promoted as editorial content but is so fact free or otherwise ridiculous as to make it naked propaganda -- and not very well done propaganda at that -- then it's time for us to put our wallets away.

7. I'd say since his TV show started he's gotten progressively worse

I have a friend who was a big fan before that and I listened occasionally - he was a right wing jerk, but not as bad as all this.

8. They are not trying to silence Beck they are just saying they won't be a part of it.

There is a huge difference...Not to even mention Business liabilities. I find it hard to understand how ANY business would take on a political position in a very public manner. Amer5ica is a divided country politically speaking and to limit yourself to just half the market seems foolish at best.

BTW Beck is not smart enough to know about FDR, Social Security, and other things but
whomever is giving him these idiot talking points is screwing him big time. Millions
of Americans have had some sort of dignity thanx to social security and for Beck to run it
down really fucks him over.
