Has America had its daily mass shooting yet today?
Doesn't it seem like we have been having about one a day lately?

8. Yeah, you probably do need to add that tag.
Some folks around here have their sarcasm detector switched off. Here, I'll add it for you:

:sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm: :sarcasm:

9. It's almost routine for shootings to happen outside local city high schools.
They barely make the news unless there's some good footage to go with. But let something happen at a suburban school....

10. I worked in the New York City schools
In the district where I worked in the Bronx, it was pretty routine. The school secretary in one school where I visited regularly had the desk sergeant of the local precinct on speed dial, and had to call so often she was on a first-name basis with him. The calls usually went something like this: "Hi, Chris, it's Marie. They're at it again. In the back this time. Ok, thanks. (click)". Most of the time it was neighborhood knuckleheads having it out - usually, students weren't involved.
