Well the Hawaii Tsunami alarms went off and they aren't very loud
The kids didn't even notice. I'm not sure I would have noticed if I was sleeping.

Guess I'll go research the low lying areas now.

We've had a few false alarms but this sounds more serious. I think we are far enough inland. Then again a nice stroll gets us to one of the beaches around here. Hmm I really better check that map.

Somebody may have slept through it.

Community is very important in events like this. Too many of us live in isolation.

8. Get to high ground.
And keep in mind that when the first wave comes and goes that DOES NOT mean that it is over. There can be a number of waves over hours.

Move to high ground and wait for instructions from civil defense before attempting to return.

I'm serious about this!
