I have a yurt out in the woods -- it can clearly be seen by Google Earth, practically right into the skylight, complete with the paths leading up to it. But all Colin could show us were blurry 1950s era black and white photos? All the billions we've invested in satellite spy technology only gets us blurry 8x10's with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one describing what each one was to be used against Saddam in a shock and awe? And people people bought that shit when they started saying "we dunno, maybe they drove the WMD off to Syria in the back of trucks!?" Yeah. To bad they didn't deliver them to my yurt, then maybe the government could have actually seen them.

A lot of the "satellite" pictures on Google Earth were actually taken from airplanes. There's a heck of a difference between photos taken by a spy satellite and ones taken by a low-flying aircraft.

And no, we didn't have low-flying aircraft over Iraq in 2002.
