BBC World News quoting NYT says US has captured major Taliban commander in Pakistan.
Apparently it happened several days ago but the Obama administration had the NYT withhold it for several days but it published several hours ago.

As usual this guy is quoted as being "the second in command".

8. It used to be second in command in Al Qaeda. Now it's second in command in the Taliban.
