Peace of Ass: Olympic Gold Medalist Butts In for good cause

Great idea for a good cause. Buy a pair of panties and five bucks go to Doctors Without Borders and Haiti Relief.

And this is a link to Hannah's own charity project: http://www.hannahsgold.com/

On another sports note, Swiss Tennis legend Roger Federer put together a charity tournament on the eve of last month's Australian Open and the players managed to raise over $600,000 for that one event. Many later donated signed racquets to be auctioned on Ebay.

1. Well. I thought my title was pretty good. Maybe I'll publish it elsewhere.

5. Hannah is donating all her winnings this year to Haiti relief efforts
Teter to donate money to Haiti

U.S. snowboarding star Hannah Teter, the reigning Olympic champion in halfpipe, promised Thursday that if she wins a medal at the Vancouver Games, she will donate her prize money to the reconstruction effort in Haiti. The U.S. Olympic Committee awards $25,000 for gold medals and lesser amounts for silver and bronze.

"I will be donating $25,000 -- if I get it," she said.

The gesture is nothing new for Teter, one of the sport's most colorful and generous characters. Teter makes Vermont maple syrup and sells it to benefit the two-year-old charity Hannah's Gold, which helps provide clean water to the town of Kirindon, Kenya. She has raised money for Darfur and, this season, donated all of her race winnings to Haiti.
