1. Looks like a job posting from 1998.
Before the Internet bubble burst.

3. It's probably not a legit ad. What sounds too good to be true...
and all that.

If you respond, you'll get some sort of pitch for something.

5. There are many "blind" ads that are legit on FB
and I have had responses. I REALLY get mad when people flag ads on FB just because they are blind ads.

Newspapers used to have "blind" ads all the time; it's no different with online "help wanted" ads.

6. You're Right
There are decent jobs on craigslist but that one is obviously bogus. I have more respect for the ads that suggest you can earn that amount on straight commission.

9. Other Than the Typo ('Asserts')
I don't see why the ad would not be legitimate.

A lot of salaries for sales managers and marketing directors are in that range. Like most ads, it's not likely to go to anyone except an absolutely perfect fit.

11. In my area it would. I've seen marketing and IT positions in the
$125,000-$175,000 range advertised in my area and quite a few more of them recently as hiring is starting to pick up.

12. I guess it can happen but it doesn't seem effective.
A job paying that much would be fairly important to the company. If I was hiring for that type of position I wouldn't want to throw it out to the anonymous pool of CL. Plus you would probably be buried with at least 1000 resumes.
