John Boehner's newest comment regarding Pres Obama. - (I'm so sick of republicans I could scream)
I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE!

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Saturday released the second statement in two days sniffing at the attempt at fostering some bipartisanship on health care reform.
Boehner: "A productive bipartisan discussion should begin with a clean sheet of paper. We now know that instead of starting the 'bipartisan' health care 'summit' on Feb. 25 with a clean sheet of paper, the president and his party intend to arrive with a new bill written behind closed doors exclusively by Democrats -- a backroom deal that will transform one-sixth of our nation's economy and affect every family and small business in America. They will then engage a largely handpicked audience in a televised 'dialogue' according to a script they have largely pre-determined. They will do this as a precursor to embarking on a legislative course that Democratic congressional aides acknowledge has also been pre-determined -- a partisan course that relies on parliamentary tricks to circumvent the will of the American people and engineer a pre-determined outcome. It doesn't sound much like bipartisanship to me."
----------

The republicans want it 'their way' or 'no way at all'.
Someone tell them THEY LOST THE ELECTION in 2008, I know that they must know this fact, but they are in denial and just won't accept the fact that they are NO LONGER IN POWER and do not have a majority!
We The People elected OBAMA!

We The People must start to show OUR SUPPORT for President Obama in every way possible otherwise in the end the republicans will win with their twisting of the facts, falsehoods, and outright lies and propaganda! President Obama can't do everything alone - WE must be an asset to him and not a liability!

1. STFU Boehner.
Your belief that the only "fair" thing to do is to play it your way or no way is so blatantly transparent I can see right through it to you and your orange skin.

7. Don't recall him whining when Bush/Cheney literally operated this way
He's just projecting.

Just because the GOP operates this way, doesn't mean others do as well. And, so what if they do.

If the Party of No Republicans acted in good faith, I might feel sorry for them. Well, maybe not ...

8. I don't agree ...
My not criticizing Obama will not turn any of the Republican hacks into reasonable human beings. They do not and never have cared what we say, think or want. They represent the rich. They have always represented the rich. They always will represent the rich. They will do their very best to torpedo any Democratic president we elect no matter who he/she is or what they do.

I simply do not understand how anyone can think supporting Obama's essentially bad agenda, his pro war crimes stance or any of his other toadies to the Republicans is going to change them. They don't change. They are like obsidian. Stone headed, cutting and cold.

Obama gave them everything they wanted and all they did was show him more contempt than they had before. Now they feel they have a license to do or say anything. He gave it to them, not me or anyone else who has voiced disagreement with him or his actions.

Please think about what you are saying and thinking. You want a perfect president so much that you are projecting one onto Obama who is seriously flawed. Now you want me and others who feel as I do to do the same. It is not going to happen. We have our own minds and I don't know about anyone else, but I am not going to lie for Obama or say I agree with him when I do not. To stop being critical and watchful of him and his administration after what I have seen in the last year would be anathema to me. You would get a lot further if you stopped telling us what we had to think or had to do. We are equal in discernment and capacity to you even though we see things differently. Please try not to forget it.

13. Why tell republicans they lost the election?
Our biggest problem is the spineless democrats we elected don't know they won the damned thing.

Let me put it this way, I've lost a good friend of 40 plus years over this and have no plans to ever back down either.

16. We knew these bums would overplay their hands. Thats what they do. The thing is
we as democrats need to get together like we were when it was under bush and get just as angry. I like obama, i am not thrilled about many things he does, but we aren't them. And, we need to unite and show that contrast.

19. Unbelievable.
We just spent the better part of a year trying the bipartisan approach, and this idiot and his buddies used the opportunity to try to prevent any reform. Now he wants bipartisanship?
