10 races to watch in 2010

Even without a presidential contest, this election year will be a doozy. Green angles are cropping up in close races from California to Texas to Illinois. John McCain and Charlie Crist, two relatively eco-friendly Republicans, are trying to fend off right-wing primary challenges in their Senate races in Arizona and Florida. Climate change is a hot (ahem) issue in California’s governor and Senate races. And environmental bête noir Dick Pombo is back on the hustings. Here are 10 races to keep your eyes on.
