DU PHOTOSHOP FUN... What's on Sarah Palin's hand?
By now, you've all heard about Sarah Palin's crib sheet on her palm:

Energy
Budget Tax cuts
Lift American Spirits

Rev up your favorite image editing program and show us what's really on Sarah's hand! Here's a blank hand for you...

77. That's why my youngster is the go-to dude
He's added all sorts of fonts, and stuff, and has been recruited by his high school peers for the poster work. He's smart and has the stamina for the steep learning curve plus and has a strong art background.

He walked us through a fun "Create an Album' Game" with fun results.

1 - Go to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:Random
The title of your article is the name of your band.

2 - Go to http://www.quotationspage.com/random.php3
The last 4 words of the last quote of the page is the title of the album.

3 - Go to http://www.flickr.com/explore/interesting/7days/
The 3rd picture is the artwork on the album.

4 - Mix and match in Photoshop/Paint/whatever the hell you use.

Here's mine (and my art taste alone, not his):

This Luddite got confused when he started talking about Inkscape's vector editing and line drawing. I say, "If it can't drawn with a pie pan and a ruler, get a bigger wrench". He inherited his mother's art genes and sensibilities.

Truth be told, when we find time, I'm going to have my son walk me through the basics of Inkscape, it looks interesting.

48. Adobe Photoshop CS-4 is expensive ($1459 at Amazon)
Photoshop Lightroom 2 is less expensive ($250 or so)

Photoshop Elements 8 is the least expensive at about $75 from Amazon.Com

Some vendors offer student discounts on the software.

I am using Photoshop Elements 8 Premier (does video/audio too). I am currently enrolled in an Elements course in Atlanta. Once I master Elements I'll probably add Lightroom to my library, too. I can't see myself ever using Creative Suite 4 (CS-4), but who knows?

146. Photoshop Elements is a good intro program and does more than most people need
I used it for years after I got it with a hardware deal - then Adobe offered an upgrade path to the full version of Photoshop for really cheap and I got regular Photoshop. I suspect they will eventually do that again someday, so getting Elements is a good idea.

Edited on Fri Feb-12-10 08:27 AM by RoccoR5955
Use GIMP. It's free and does EVERYTHING that Photoshop does! It runs on Windohs, Mac, and Linux. Heck, if you have something else, you can compile the source code yourself to make it run, because it's written in C, and comes with the source code.
Find out more here, and download it NOW!

149. You don't need photoshop... Download GIMP here:
http://www.gimp.org/

It's free, open-source software. There's documentation and everything. It's been around since about 1997, and is as good as photoshop. I've been using it forever, and find that it does just as good a job as the software that you pay for. It also works on whatever operating system you have. There are versions for Windohs, Mac, and Linux, and the source code is included, so if you are running something different, you can compile it yourself.

91. hmmm well I cant think of what to write in her hand....
Edited on Mon Feb-08-10 02:02 AM by winyanstaz
But since I can read palms I will put down what I see in this hand here.
early childhood....This person had both parents at the beginning but right off the bat was left to deal with the world a lot on their own.
Not necessarily abandoned by both parents but rather let to run fairly wild/on their own with little to no guidance.
This person went into the world on their own at an early age.
This person is extremely tight fisted/likes to keep track of their things/stingy.
This person has the club thumb of a person that can easily kill.
This hand shows extreme shallowness along with a deep need for admiration, love and affection..and has a secret life.
This hand also shows three major loves. One early in life, one in the middle part of the life (now almost over) and another major love..later in life.
This person stresses and worry-warts deeply when things go wrong..and there have been five major times of stress and this palm is now in major stress.
This life line takes many detours and changes of course but is a long life line.
This life-line shows an almost prison like environment in late life...This shows this person will be under a lot of control/oversight.
This hand shows a mega temper.
Sorry I cannot see more because of the photo shopping.
Reading palms is not psychic...it takes no power to do so....it is like learning to read a road map and anyone can do it. :)

P.S. A big thank you and Wow to the person or persons that gave me a heart :)

115. I like to do hands of people that I dont know much about...
Edited on Mon Feb-08-10 03:43 PM by winyanstaz
That way I can "wow" them when I tell them about their childhood.
I only do it for fun and I don't charge people..its is very interesting though.
As to Obamas hand...I already did it once but if one were posted I would do it again on line for you all.
I found how many love lines she had very interesting....as there were three major ones.
For a love to make it to your major love lines it first has to make it to your heart.
It looked like there were a lot of smaller ones...which can be family, friends or casual lovers..depending on if they come off a major love line or are just there on their own. I would need a lot clearer photo to tell.

116. Yes I think that is true...
Edited on Mon Feb-08-10 03:50 PM by winyanstaz
you see all those major stress lines radiate into her life line and on towards her health lines and the head.
She is in the middle of that stress area big time now where it is taking a sudden turn.
The head line goes nice and straight for a while and then takes a sudden dip and curves downward at a steep angle into the health line where all the squares (inprisonment/control) are.
I have studied palm reading for many years and I follow Chiro's methods and have developed a bit of my own in the area of the childhood over the years.
I find Chiro to be amazingly accurate.
He is the one that was so famious during the Victorian era..he predicted the fall from fame and wealth and the death of Oscar Wilde and was accurate there as well.
