Woot! Power back on!
24 hours and 15 minutes without power.

Temperature inside the house had dipped to 52 degrees.

Measured the driveway snow with a tape measure.... 23.5 inches.

What'd I miss? hahaha....

6. Last year during the December ice storm in the Northeast...
we lost power for three days. The generator crapped out. We had to run the car out in the driveway and hook it to some converter thingy to power the pellet stove and a few lights and the fridge for the three days. It sucked big time.

You just never know how much you miss something as basic as electricity until it's not there.

Having said that, I don't suppose you missed a whole lot. Just another "normal" day here at DU.

:+

9. Glad you've got your power back. That's sorta scary, especially with those conditions outside.

11. Glad you got it back.
We were without power (which means no water because of the well) for 15 hours and that was bad enough.
