In the last few days I've heard several discussions in the media about the teabaggers.
The impression is that they are growing as a movement.

All the discussions seem to present them as a respectable response to Obama's 'extremism'.

And some of these discussions were on NPR, not just biased AM talk radio.

It's beginning to feel scary.

1. Ahh -- You heard that seven-minute commercial for the Teagaggers/Republicans this morning as well?
'Just another reason for me to be confirmed in my
decision never to support NPR again.

2. There are different levels of crazy among them.
1. They will never agree on anything.
2. They don't even know what they want, much less how to get it.
3. They are absolutely NOT 'grassroots'.
4. They are already screaming at each other.
5. They are disowning Repugs at an alarming rate.
6. Soon, even Sarah Palin will fall into disfavor (she is using them and they are beginning to catch on).

3. NPR has turned into AM Hate Radio in case you have not noticed. "Beginning to feel scary?"
With the media promoting the reich-wing extremism, we are beyond scary, deep into inevitability.

4. Bush appointed a Republican crony to the head of NPR -- SURPRISE!
What is brilliant about this is that the right still views NPR as a bastion of liberal craziness. They won't even listen, so they don't realize that the station they love to hate is actually spewing the hate for them. And many "lefties" don't realize that Bush was instrumental in changing them over to a right-wing propaganda catapulter.
