"Action plan for the implementation of a full repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell"
"I will task the Defense Department and the senior command structure in every branch of the armed forces with developing an action plan for the implementation of a full repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell ... America is ready to get rid of the Don't Ask, Don't Tell policy. All that is required is leadership."

This is candidate Obama, speaking in 2007, BTW.

"This year, I will work with Congress and our military to finally repeal the law that denies gay Americans the right to serve the country they love because of who they are. (Applause.) It's the right thing to do. (Applause.)"

This is also Obama, SOTU address three years later.

I give this President much slack on many issues. This one is utterly out of rope.

Now, Mr. President.

The time is now.

1. I propose the following action plan.
1. Congress passes a bill removing discrimination from the law.

2. Obama signs it.
