Boxer Supported by Challenger's Former Company

The Sacramento Bee reports that Hewlett-Packard's political action committee has given the maximum amount to Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) but hasn't contributed toward its own former CEO, Carly Fiorina (R), campaign finance reports show.

10. Somehow that all important fact just never gets mentioned.
Not in the M$M news papers and TV and radio.

And not in the campaign literature.

3. I doubt there is much love lost
between HP and Carly.

I hope HP puts out a couple of ads endorcing Boxer. That would be sweet.

8. yep. she ran the company down and had many
grea employees (like a good friend of mine) let go after exporting their jobs to other countries like Costa Rica. She's a terrible business person and just a cold person in general.

9. My very best friend in the world
was working there in the HPUX development group, he had (in 6 months) completed the first version of the DMP (dynamic multipathing SAN code) when she abruptly had it outsourced to India, 2 years later and he was still there, now trying the fix the pile of shit that came back... it never did work quite right. His wife was an assistant to one of the senior VPs... after a year or so of Carly he "retired" (early) and she was demoted. She lasted another year before getting out.

12. Silicon Valley is solidly behind Boxer
If Carly Fiorina is going to raise any serious money she will have to go south to shake the money tree. That, or loan more of her own money to her campaign.
