to justify their handling of national security issues?

3. You better believe they do, and they'll spin it. Make it the Dems
fault, just like they did with 9/11 and Clinton. Even thought Bush has created more terrorists then ever before.

9. They create their own reality, remember?
It'll happen when they really need it. Just like before.

7. They Already Are Blaming The Democratic Party For The Attacks ...

in Iraq. What makes one think GOP will accept responsibility for anything?

The attack is planned (One can imagine by whom). Any attack that succeeds will be directly blamed on the current Democratic congressional actions making their way through the Congress.

The headlines are already written. GOP and shrub blame Democratic Party for their (GOP) failures.

11. That's what they accuse us of now.
Wanting a terrorist attack to make Bush look incompetent. You know they use that "Democrats always wish for bad news and suffering" meme.

13. Truthfully though, there was a link here at the DU that did just that.
It has been removed though. I won't post the persons name but the text says it all....

I almost want another terrorist attack to happen

It's shockingly sad that I even deign to say such a thing, but I become furiously enraged whenever some GOP Neanderthal says that if Democrats are elected, terrorists will strike again. Do these "people" have any shame at all? The absolute gall of these subhuman sleaze bags makes me nauseous.

I don't think there is any doubt anymore that the Republican party and a good percentage of its members care not at all about anything other than holding power. They will stoop to any low in order to achieve their objective, and that objective does not include the best interests of the American people or the rest of the world. They are a bunch of corrupted scumbags.

It's to the point that I almost hope for the terrorists to strike again under their watch, if for no other reason than to dispel the disgusting lie that the American people are somehow safer when the Republican maggots are in charge. I know these sentiments are exclusively the product of my emotions right now (those emotions being unmitigated rage), so perhaps when I calm down my head will clear.
