5. And in San Jose ...
... these Chimpy pics are the front page centerpiece of today's San Jose Mercury News. And the headline, right in the center of page 1? Hail to the choreographer in chief.

The real news of the day? Relegated to tiny promos to inside stories.

Shameful.

7. I know Poppy Bush is no paragon of virtue...
And his role in so many nasty episodes has yet to be fully disclosed... Nonetheless, wouldn't you like to be a fly on the wall when he confides in Scowcroft or whoever he still talks with about the Bush* butt ("lil Georgie")?

I know that Putin and the other Russians had rather have Bill attend any function than to have the B-team guy (W.) come. Are there any pundits or puking-heads talking about this glaring example of W.'s standing in the world?

16. Another smashingly successful Playday for Junior!
I'll bet he was perfectly happy to see others -- anyone other than himself -- off to the funeral.

He really seems to have a total aversion to doing anything serious, haven't we noticed? Even when his pretzeldental duties require him to do something serious, he always seems so uncomfortable and unhappy about it -- and he rarely does even a halfway decent job of it even when you can tell he's trying hard.

Of course, "trying hard" is anathema to Chimpy too!

I can recall no other president about whom words such as "doofus" and "goober" have been used. And they're so utterly appropriate when it comes to Georgie "The-Pet-Goat" Bu$h!

Great thread, Steph.

Nice job, Stephanie. I saw it the clip on the Today Show and Matt Lauer was effusive in his thanks to "the president" for such amusement. They also dug out Rove hip hopping and played that, too.

of drunkenness.

I guess Big Dick's blood clot prevented him from attending the funeral. Or maybe his parka was at the cleaners.

At least chimpy wasn't cutting up like this at Yeltsin's funeral. I wouldn't put it past the chimp to make an ass out of himself at a state funeral. Hell. He does it every place else.
