DCCC: your membership has expired. ME: my trust in the Democratic Party has expired.

I just got this email from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee:

SUBJECT: Your Membership Has Expired

After Tuesday's election, it has never been clearer that complacency is not an option. Now is the time to redouble our efforts and commit to never give up. It is also a time for us here at the DCCC to make sure we are fully prepared for the 2010 elections. We have the know-how to win - we just need to ensure we have the resources to fully fuel our candidates to the finish line.

This is my response:

It is clear the Democratic Party doesn't want to win for the American people but for Wall Street, banks, and the insurance industry. You guys had a chance enact New Deal level changes and you chose corruption over making history. If you don't fight for us with every means possible and drop inside the beltway nonsense like bipartisanship, the Democratic Party will follow the GOP to the ash heap of history. We did not vote for you to find common ground with the GOP, we voted for you to undo every vile thing they did that is turning this country into a Third World kleptocracy where the rich bleed the poor and middle class dry without fear of regulation or prosecution.

There are some good Democratic candidates, but I don't trust you, the DSCC or the DNC to distribute money to only those candidates. Too many are DLC and Blue Dogs who put corruption and the interests of the already wealthy ahead of those of average Americans. You guys were doing much better when Howard Dean was in charge.

Please but the American people ahead of corruption in ACTIONS not just words for a change, and I'll reconsider opening my wallet.

Not only has my membership expired, so has my trust in the Democratic Party.

3. WOW! I said something similar (only nowhere near as good) a few months

ago and they were trying to drum up money for healthcare. I said they were the LAST ones I would give my money to and that I would pick my candidates and my races myself in the future, thank you very much.
