Mitch Landrieu big front runner in the election for New Orleans Mayor
Mary's baby brother is leading the five other leading candidates with 45% of the vote. The second place candidate has 14%. The election will be held 6 February, the day before the Super Bowl. If the Saints are in the Super Bowl there may not be anybody sober enough to vote on the 6th.

All the candidates have feared getting the endorsement of incumbent Ray Nagin. So far he hasn't endorsed anybody but he continues to stir up shit.

2. He'll still be Mayor until May
Great bumper stickers in New Orleans sighting the date he will no longer be Mayor, kinda like our long urban nightmare will be over.

John Georges has been dumping a ton of negative spots on Landrieu but they apparently aren't working.

Love me some Masquerading Poochs.

3. I have seen those bumperstickers. They're a hoot!
I have seen the negative ads too...:eyes: So over them.

This year's Barkus theme: The Dogs Go Barking In ( I am guessing in honor of the New Orlean's Saints, but what a difficult theme!)
