FLEISCHER- Was Told - !!!NOT!!! - To Stand By The 16 WORDS

Fleischer also made clear how uncomfortable he was when questioned earlier that day at a press briefing about Wilson's claims that the administration was twisting intelligence. Earlier in the spring, he had insisted that President Bush stood behind 16 words in his 2003 State of the Union address about Iraq's efforts to buy uranium in Niger.

But higher level officials he didn't name began suggesting it might be a problem to defend that statement.

"I had been told to be careful not to stand by the 16 words, that the ground might be shifting on that," Fleischer said. "You can't say yes. You can't say no. At that briefing, I basically punted. I said yes and no."

1. What a piece of sh!t this man is. Of course, he never pretended to be anything else.
And now Tony Snow has the job. And being every bit the turd Ari was. Snotty Scotty was so out of his league, all three were/are pretty much a joke.

4. He's the best America has to offer.
Let's face it. People with communication skills to do what Ari did are very much in demand in today's world.

6. While this is serious business
I turn on daily to see the latest revelations, get my popcorn and watch Days of Our Lies. Freepers are beyond dumb if they didn't realize they were played because they are dumb, stupid, non-thinking morons. How hard was it to connect the dots.

Most people here are merely being vindicated. Fugg dumb Freepers.

3. Snow is the worst of the litter
Snow is the worst of the litter because of the time in which he serves. The other two guys eras were when BUSH RULED ABSOLUTELY.

America was still in shock and we depended on great leader to lead us out of our fear.

Snow has to operate in an era when Bush' credibility is less than zero and the six years of blatant lies and manipulation have all surfaced in plain sight for all the world to see.

Nobody, including American's, enjoy being lied to and Snow really can't do any good for anybody being the mouth piece for an administration that has negative credibility.

So Snow sucks the most because he chose to serve this mendacious admin well after most of the lies had festered over into the fully public domain.
