About time we told the rethugs to pound sand

Seriously, I'm glad to see our Democratic leadership telling the rethugs to go fuck themselves. They have not contributed one damned thing over the last year (really, when was the last time they really contributed anything worthwhile). All they've done is gripe, moan, rant and rave. Their only objective has been to slow down and obstruct progress as much as possible.

This gives me hope that maybe - just maybe we can finally get some sort of health reform passed over the next month or so. I know it's not going to be perfect, but at this rate, I'll settle for just getting our foot in the door.

I just wish we could freeze out the rethugs altogether. Just think how much we could get accomplished if we were to bypass them altogether. What's the point of having our supermajority if we're not going to take advantage of it? This might be the best chance we'll have in a long time to get some meaningful legislation passed. We do not need them.

Thank gawd we have a majority in congress. They really are making some good moves while getting no help from the minority. We just need to make sure we have even more dems in congress a year from now. Progress will get a good kick then.

Y'know, I always used to pull for minorities, no matter who they were. Not these days.
