I think the GOP Governor of ND is too popular not to win, but on the other hand I feel much better now about CT. I think Dodd was in for an uphill race, according to the polls, but now feel that AG Blumenthal, who is now running, will be a stronger candidate than Dodd and has a good shot at winning.

1. I thought there were tons of Real Progressives ready to be elected all over the country
...at least that's what the blue state purists have been telling us.

2. Um, are you saying Dick Blumenthal is not progressive?
Because while I can't say he's Kucinich-like, he's certainly more liberal than Dodd or Lieberman, though less than CT's other prominent rising Democrats, Susan Bysiewicz and far less progressive than Ned Lamont.

It's really good news...we're very likely to sweep all the major CT races. I know that seems odd but it'll be the first time in my lifetime we've had a GOP-free major state government and Congressional delegation and only the second time in my life we've had a Democratic governor.
