GOP House Candidate: Battling Liberals More Important Than Defeating Terrorism
Matthew DeLong 1/4/10 2:25 PM

From The Minnesota Independent:

Allen Quist, a Republican who is seeking to defeat Rep. Tim Walz in southern Minnesota’s First Congressional District, told attendees of the Wabasha County Republicans Christmas Party in mid-December that beating the “radical” liberals in Washington, D.C., is a bigger battle than beating terrorism.

“Our country is being destroyed. Every generation has had to fight the fight for freedom… Terrorism? Yes. That’s not the big battle,” he said. “The big battle is in D.C. with the radicals. They aren’t liberals. They are radicals. Obama, Pelosi, Walz: They’re not liberals, they’re radicals. They are destroying our country.”

6. Obama should have prosecuted the criminals.
Now, Repuublicons are spreading like cockroaches, scuttling under everything to hide from the mess they made of our country. They left behind 2 useless wars, a ruined economy, 10% unemployment, corporations with their dirty fingers all over everything of value, the largest imbalance of wealth in the world, people dying for lack of medical attention, poisons in our food, water, air and toys.

Republicons are an infestation, a cancer on our society and they are stupid and liars to boot.

Edited on Mon Jan-04-10 05:00 PM by BOSSHOG
I think conservatives are domestic enemies of the constitution and since I love my country and put my ass on the line for 24 years I do everything I can to defeat them. I find it akin to fighting roaches.

9. Usually they just make a gay joke at Frank's expense.

That's about all I've seen.

I guess Barney being gay is hilarious to them.

They don't even know what they stand for anymore.

16. Please somebody tell me how the democrats are destroying
this country. Now if the would have said that the previous eight years helped to destroy our country we could accept it. But there is nothing that has been done since Obama was LEGALLY ELECTED that has gone toward destroying our country. They republicans have nothing else to complain about so they make up crap to try to get something started. Notice I capitalized legally elected....that's cause bush wasn't.

19. Obama and Pelosi are radicals?
Then what the hell would this nutcase think of Dean or Kucinich or Feingold? Or Bernie Sanders? Sounds like this guy has his priorities screwed up. If anyone has destroyed this country it is the GOPigs(no offense to actual pigs:)). The decade that just ended is solid proof of that!

20. That's curious, isn't it?
They attack Pelosi and Reid as being "radical", yet ignore the few TRUE progressives that SHOULD be their sworn enemies.

Weird.
