The MSM has had ONE story to natter about. The Bomber. I checked in now and then, and that's all they were showing.

The sports channels managed to find 2 stories to natter about. Urban Meyer quit as head football coach at Florida because of his health. Then he must have had a healing with Tim Tebow because the next day he took it back and said he would take an indefinite leave of absence. I estimate that will be about a month. The football coach at Texas Tech was suspended because he locked a player in a shed to 'help' him recover from a concussion??? Par for the course.

I decided to watch the Comedy Channel and some science fiction. The Food Channel is scifi to me.

What fun!

10. I actually had some real fun.

A new Xtian bookstore opened. It's allied with one of those groups that go around the world and hand out needed supplies and try to convert people. I don't think Jesus was a blackmailer.

I made some small cardboard tags with a piece of twine tied on. On one side I wrote "Jesus doesn't come with strings attached." On the other I wrote the Golden Rule and said that's about all you need. Who knows if anybody will understand.

As I was leaving the store after planting my messages, I asked how much string they bought. She looked at me quizzically. I told her it must be a lot to attach conversion to Christianity to all this stuff.

They had a book called 'Manga Messiah.' The mind reels.

Just be glad you got back on line when you did. When i went down one thing after the other kept happening until it ended up being over two years. But i had some of my friends on DU that kept me up to date and posted for me under their names and fed me info.I was gone so long i forgot my user name,password,and a whole lot of the things i had learned on DU and other sites. But its like riding a bike all you have to do is get back on and pedal. Unless you have no feet;)
