1. I was just wondering what DU would be like during the Clinton administration...
A little better, a little worse?

Yes, DU has become an ugly place.

The post that was reposted regarding torture and the supreme court decision, this was from a RW site and the OP left out that the administration tried to influence a different outcome.

Blaming Obama for the Supreme Court decision is pathetic.

But it is par for the course to post such flamebait for a handful of DUers.

:puke:

Worked one poster up into such a frenzy that s/he actually asked if it was possible that "Obama was the AntiChrist?" And I REALLY don't think s/he was being sarcastic, either...

2. They are going to look like bigger fools than they are
No one in their right mind is going to support investigating Rahm.

6. Those petitions would be passed around by the Palin 2012 committee.

7. Some DUers
are doing all they can to assure a Palin 2012 victory.

Sort of like those people who wouldn't vote for Pat Brown over Ronald Reagan in the California governor's race.

Or wouldn't vote for that corporate tool Gore over George W Bush.

8. Yep. They won't be happy until this country is a smoldering ruins.
They see nothing good about the US, nothing worth saving.
I have nothing but pity for them. What miserable lives they must lead.

10. Yes we do.
starting with saving the 800 $billion+$ (actually no limit), taxpayer funded, no congressional oversight, no inspector general, no transparency, backdoor extention of tarp on christmas eve.

That's a can of worms which needs to be opened wide.

17. You have just described a witch hunt. Zero evidence of wrongdoing.. but let's investigate it cause
you don't like what was done. If he's done nothing wrong, what's he got to hide?

If you're not a witch you shouldn't be afraid to stand trial.

Right?

18. I see so when the repubs get back in power and pull the same shit it will be aok with you.
Expecting accountability for 800 billion + of taxpayer money is now a witch hunt. Funny how the inspector general was conducting an investigation into fannie and freddie which included rahms profitable stint on the board. Apparently the IG ruffled some feathers because obama stopped it and demoted him using a law coauthored by none other than rahm in 2008. How convenient, nice to have friends in high places.
And now freddie and fannie get a blank check which could easily extend to a trillion taxpayer dollars with no IG oversight (obama hasn't replaced the IG he fired), no congressional oversight and an FOIA for info on the freddie and fannie board filed by the chicago tribune was denied by obama.
Oh and by the way fannie and freddie hold 6 trillion in loans.

So here's a little mental exercise for you. Replace obama's name with bush and rahm's name with rove.

Everything still hunky dory with this situation. You are perfectly fine handing out upwards of a trillion tax dollars, no questions asked.

Hypocrites.

15. The leftbaggers want to keep wrecking the country until Kucinich gets elected President.
Which will never happen.

It's the Sensible People vs. the Kooks.

Kooks includes teabaggers, leftbaggers, and Bushists.

I'd add that we need to call for immediate investigations into Barack Obama's birth certificate. What if he lied about that?
